There are no techniques to improve your vision. Good nutrition, as others said, will help you maintain your vision. And if you are always tiring your eyes out a lot, ceasing that activity could help.

But there are no exercises or whatever.

I recently started doing eye exercises to try to improve my vision. I created a blog where I record my progress with the exercises. Other people also post comments about their experiences as well. You can check it out at http://improvingmyeyesight.com/blog/

Eating carrots helps preserve your eyes. Lutein prevents macular degeneration as you age.

Get plenty of Vitamin A. Green vegetable diet is the best source. They may not necessarily improve your eyesight but ample Vitamin A intake will slow down any eyesight deterioration.

… unless you are diabetic… then you’d need to see a doctor.
