<p>Vision is inter-connected with body posture. Therefore, to improve eyesight, you must also improve posture.</p>
<p>The explanation is that vision health is holistic health, which means it includes the health of the body, the mind, and the spirit. Eyesight is an integral part of vision. Your eyesight determines how you see the world at large; your perception is your reality. Therefore, your perception becomes the raw materials of your life experiences, which will directly or indirectly affect your physical, mental, and emotional wellness. By the same token, your physical, mental, and emotional health will have a bearing on your vision health, and hence your eyesight. </p>
<p>According to Dr. William Bates (1860 &#8211; 1931), the founder of natural vision improvement, poor vision is the result of eyestrain, due to mental and physical stress on the eye, and hence the distortion of the eye shape, causing nearsightedness and farsightedness. Dr. William Bates strongly believed that eye relaxation holds the key to improving vision.</p>
<p>But eye relaxation begins with the mind first, not the eye. The mind must be completely relaxed before it can relax the body—and then the eye, which is only one of the organs of the body.</p>
<p>Improve posture to relax the body and the mind, and hence the eye. After all, posture health is overall health: it affects your whole being in many different ways. </p>

In addition, an arched back exerts undue pressure on the joints and nerves, causing joint pain and rheumatism. Due to poor body posture, all the muscle groups supporting the crooked spine may become stretched and strained, causing wear and tear, resulting in lower back pain. Chronic body pain often interferes with natural sleep, which is a major factor in relaxation of the body and the mind, in particular, the eye. Therefore, it is important to improve posture for eye relaxation to improve eyesight.</p>
<p>To successfully improve posture, you must develop an acute awareness for good posture at all times.</p>
<p>Good posture does not mean &#8220;jamming your shoulders back, tucking in your tummy, and standing stiff&#8221;; this posture does not align your body, nor is it practicable in that you can maintain that position over an extended period. Good posture means that in any standing position, you body posture should be as follows:</p>
<p>• Your head is directly above your shoulders. </p>
<p>• Your chin is tucked in. </p>
<p>• Your ear, shoulder, and hip are in a straight line from a side view. </p>
<p>• Your upper back is straight, not slouched. </p>
<p>• Your shoulders, relaxed and straight, are flat against your back. </p>
<p>• Your pelvis is in a neutral position. </p>
<p>• Your knees are unlocked.</p>
<p>Be mindful not just of your standing posture, but also your sitting and sleeping posture—they all play a pivotal part in eye relaxation, which holds the key to improving eyesight.</p>

At the very beginning, they are excited and keep on practising almost everyday, however, after several days, observing no difference, they give up, thinking that I cheat them, and there is basically no such ways to correct vision without glasses and surgeries.<br />
Therefore, I need to make a statement here that the non improvement of their eyesight has nothing to do with the method itself, but closely relates to their persistence in practicing it. As we all know, nothing can be achieved within just a few days, so does the natural vision improvement, as one&#8217;s blur vision is not formed within a short period of time, but caused by a long time&#8217;s bad habits of reading.<br />
I just want to remind those who have tried the natural vision improvement and those who have not that persist practicing regularly everyday and try to form it as a habit of themselves. I know it is a little bit difficult to insist since little improvement can be seen everyday, and you even have to insist for months or even years, but only by this way can you really restore your eyesight as a normal person. When you achieve something, you will see how great it is to see clear gradually without the assistance of glasses and surgeries, which, more or less, do harm to eyes.</div>

Therefore, you characteristically want to leave lights on in all the rooms of your home that you visit regularly throughout the day, so that you don&#8217;t have to enter a room and wait for your eyes to adjust or worse, wait for them to adjust, and end up graceful on something.<br />
Causes of Weak Eyesight: – Heat and Weakness of brain is a main cause of weak eyesight.<br />

Natural Remedies to Improve Your Eyesight: -<br />
• Make triphala water by adding 25gms of triphala in 500gms of water in the evening in a glass or clay vessel. In the morning, filter the solution and wash your eyes with it.<br />
• Fill your mouth with water and inflate it. Now sprinkle water in your eyes. Do it thrice a day preferably morning, afternoon and evening to keep your eyes refreshed. Doing this for a few months will improve your vision.<br />
• Poor vision is also a cause where intake of Vitamin C lacks. Orange juice is a good option to improve this as it is rich in vitamin C.<br />
• Drink carrot juice twice daily.<br />
• After having meals, wash your hands with water, without wiping rub both hands together and rub the index and middle finger from the side of the nose towards the side of the ear on the eyes 8-10 times daily at least for one year to cure all your eye problems.<br />
• Eating spinach will help in preventing various eye problems as it contains carotenoid.<br />
• Eat walnuts daily for a few days to reduce eye weakness. You can also take coconut daily or twice a week to prevent many eye diseases and improves eyesight.<br />
• Intake of spinach daily in the diet routine helps in purifying blood, increases hemoglobin and improves defective eyesight.<br />
• Daily massaging of the soles and toes of your foot with mustard oil will improve your eyesight.<br />
• Physical exercises: &#8211; It is important to understand that the aim of these exercises is to make eyes muscles more elastic and avoid tension. First try to feel your eyes: are they tensed? If so try to feel exactly where, and relax that area. Look at an object not far from you, and move your eyes: ten times up and down and ten times left to right, then in circles for 5 times. Take a piece of paper with a dot at its top edge.</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div><img src="http://thm-a03.yimg.com/nimage/3a6cb732002559c2" alt="image" title="mermaid beach jpg" align="left" style="margin: 0 5px 5px 0" />Were you aware that the major cause of poor vision is stress and strain on your eyes!  Most people feel that it is hereditary and that poor vision just runs in the family.  Let&#8217;s face it, if you go around thinking that you will eventually have poor vision because your parents did, then you are stressing over the fact that you will eventually have to wear glasses.  We all know what stress can do to your body.So how can you naturally improve your vision?  There are several ways to go about naturally improving your vision and one of them starts with something very simple.  Something we all probably don&#8217;t take into account enough.  Have you ever been reading something and you realize that you have a frown on your face.  When I find myself reading or working on something very interesting, the next thing you know I have a big frown on my forehead.  That is from either thinking really hard about what you are working on or maybe the story got real exciting that you are reading.  You may be saying to yourself about now, &#8220;how am I suppose to control my reactions to certain things when I don&#8217;t really realize that I&#8217;m doing them&#8221;!   I know, it&#8217;s kind of hard for me to catch myself.  But once you realize that these types of things can help you more than hurt you, you become more aware.If you work on the computer a lot, try to take more breaks.  We all lead very busy lives and deadlines are a part of that.  But if never taking a break because we need to finish our project is going to hurt us in the long run more than help us, don&#8217;t you think your health is more important than your project.  I have a friend that is practically working herself to death right now and the sad thing is that her health is deteriorating so fast that she won&#8217;t be around to enjoy her retirement if she doesn&#8217;t slow down now. If you want to naturally improve your vision, take the steps now that will help you instead of hurt you.  Take more breaks during the day, close your eyes and think of pleasant things more often, get a good night sleep, think happier thoughts throughout your day, eat better, exercise at least 30 minutes a day.  Those are a few things that can start helping you today instead of hurting you more later on.</div>
